What was the project?

Our customer came to us with a beautiful old antique sofa & chair set that was in desperate need of restoration. From the rickety frame to the worn suspension this old set was going to need a complete overhaul.

What did we do?

Upon close inspection of the sofa framework, it was clear that the joints had disintegrated, the suspension was worn & the whole thing would need a bit of a face-lift. After some dismantling, repairing and restoring it was time to re-assemble our newly built frame in prep for the new paint job.

We realise that comfort is just as important as the aesthetic and this was no exception. In this case, the original suspension & cushions had taken a beating, so we replaced them with brand new webbing & incredibly soft foam.

To complete this set, we applied the rather chic fabric and signed off with some more detailed paintwork & studding.
